The Hanson Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at 8:00 PM at the TOWN HALL, Meeting Room A, 542 LIBERTY STREET, HANSON, MA pursuant to a Blanket Request for Determination of Applicability filed by the Town of Hanson Conservation Commission on behalf of property owners within the Town of Hanson seeking permission for:
· Excavation of test pits
· Performance of perc tests
· Upgrade of septic systems (private homes and non-commercial properties only)
· Above ground swimming pools
· Sheds (any size provided they are on concrete footings not to exceed 12” diameter)
· Playscapes and swingsets
· Decks and sunrooms (provided they are on concrete footings not to exceed 12” diameter)
· Gardens (vegetable or flower)
· Irrigation and domestic wells
Within 50-100 feet of a resource area and not within a resource area (Bordering Land Subject to Flooding, Riverfront Area) except as grand-fathered exempted in 310 CMR 10.58 (6).
Parcel addresses and assessor references vary dependant on individual requests filed.
The applicant is filing under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. Chapter 131, §.40 and the Town of Hanson Wetlands Protection By-Law 3-13 §.5 and Rules and Regulations.
