Sec. 1.

Wherever there is reference to a "Town Employee" in any Article of these General By-Laws of the Town of Hanson, it shall be understood that a "Town Employee" is a person filling a position that is either;
1. Included in the Personnel Classification and Compensation By-Law, or
2. Included in any labor contract negotiated by any Board, Committee or Commission of the Town authorized to act in these regards, or
3. Elected by the Voters of the Town and serving with or without compensation, and no others.

Sec. 2.

Wherever in the foregoing General By-Laws there appears the wording "he", "his", or "him', it shall be understood that "she", 'hers", or "her" shall also apply, as appropriate.
