PESTICIDES/HERBICIDES
Sec. 1.
No ground application of pesticides or herbicides shall be made by any Town Department unless the following conditions have been met:
a. Notification of the schedule of ground application has been given to the publicly publication of a notice in a newspaper of general circulation at least one week, but not more than one month, prior to the start of ground application.
b. The ground application program will be under the direct supervision of the Superintendent of Insect and Pest Control.
Sec. 2.
No ground application of pesticides or herbicides shall be made by any Town Department to property which has been specifically designated by the owner, or resident, for exclusion. Residents desiring to have their property excluded shall make written request to the Superintendent of Insect and Pest Control at least three days prior to the scheduled application. No ground application of pesticides or herbicides shall be made by any Town Department after 6:30 A.M.
