DISPOSAL AREA OPERATING HOURS:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday 8:30 to 5:OOPM
(Closed WEDNESDAYS, SUNDAYS & HOLIDAYS)
(Closed 11:45 AM - 1:00 PM FOR LUNCH)
**All vehicles must have a current sticker affixed to the vehicle in order to enter or use the Transfer Station. This sticker allows the disposal of refuse from the address of the owner.
**Registrations must be shown for each sticker. Limit of two stickers per household. Stickers are available at the Treasurer/Collector's Office, Town Hall, Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 8:15 AM - 4:45 PM and Tuesday 8:15 AM - 7:45 PM
**Company vehicles, 6-wheeled vehicles and any other exception to the rule need written Board of Health approval for sticker.
**Stickers entitle residents to dispose of "wastebasket" trash ONLY. Bulky items (too large for wastebaskets or trash bags) require a bulky-item ticket which is $10.00 per trip for a trunk load OR pick-up truck load. Limit of 4 trip tickets per year. Residents must have a current sticker to purchase a trip ticket.
**The following items require a trip ticket:
FURNITURE, WOOD, RUGS, etc., (must not be larger than 3 ft in length or 2 feet in diameter)
**An additional $10.00 per item to dispose of the following items:
CPUs, monitors, TVs, microwaves, dehumidifiers, refrigerators, air conditioners.
Any appliance containing refrigerants must be separated.
Lawnmowers must be drained of all fluids.
**Car tires - $2.00 each and truck tires $5.00 each
ITEMS NOT ACCEPTABLE AT THE DISPOSAL AREA

PAINT CANS (Latex is acceptable)
OIL CANS, GAS TANKS, BATTERIES, BARRELS, DRUMS, BUCKETS.
ASPHALT SHINGLES
CONSTUCTION OR DEMOLITION DEBRIS (Including Concrete-Brick- or Sheet Rock)
ANIMAL WASTE, HOSPITAL WASTE. PESTICIDES, NUCLEAR OR RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS.
(cat litter acceptable under certain conditions)
ORGANIC DEBRIS (Stones, Sand, Rocks, Dirt, Brush, Timbers)
LONG OR ROLLED-UP ITEMS OVER 4 FEET LONG OR 12" IN DIAMETER
