SPECIAL TOWN MEETING
May 6, 1996
Moderator Charles Mann called the meeting to order at 7:46 p.m. in the auditorium of the Whitman- Hanson Regional High School with Joseph O'Sullivan, Robert Overholtzer and Karen Kennedy appointed and sworn in as tellers.
Town Counsel was Jeanne McKnight from Kopelman and Paige.
The Moderator declared a quorum to be present and waived the reading of the Warrant.
ARTICLE 1: To see if the Town will vote to transfer from the May 1995 Annual Town Meeting Article 5, Line 86, Veterans, a sum of money for enginering, planning and reconstruction at the Memorial Field off Robinson Street, or take any other action in relation thereto.
Proposed by the Trustees of Memorial Field

VOTED Aye, unanimous to transfer from the May 1995 Annual Town Meeting Article 5, Line 86, Veterans, the sum of $15,000.00 for engineering, planning and reconstruction at the Memorial Field off Robinson Street.
ARTICLE 2: To see if the Town will vote to accept M.G.L. Chapter 138, s33b or take any other action in relation thereto.

Explanation: This section of MGL will allow restaurants to serve alcohol at 11:00 a.m. on Sundays (brunch) with the permission of the Board of Selectmen.

ARTICLE 4: To see if the Town will vote to transfer a sum of money from the Water Surplus Account in order to pay the City of Brockton for additional water or take any other action in relation thereto.

ARTICLE 5: To see if the Town will vote to transfer a 1953 Dodge 4X4 Model M-37, VIN SN80252173 to the Hanson Housing Authority or take any other action in relation thereto.
