It is with great sadness the Town mourns the passing of Highway Surveyor Bob Brown. Bob passed away on Thursday, June 20th following a brave battle with cancer. After working for several years for the Hanson Highway Department, in 2011, following in his father's footsteps, Bob was appointed Hanson Highway Surveyor. Bob served in many capacities, including countless committees, throughout his career. He was a dedicated professional and worked tirelessly with other departments to achieve a common goal for the good of the Town. The Town in which he loved. The Town wishes to extend its deepest sympathies to Bob's family. May the love and support of this great community bring them comfort at this difficult time.
In accordance with Bob's wishes, all services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a cancer or animal charity of one's choice.
Rest in Peace Bob. We will miss you.
