HYDRANT FLUSHING CONTINUING

Hydrant flushing will continue on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. on County Road (weather permitting).

Please avoid doing laundry during the flushing of hydrants; as water could become discolored and potentially stain white laundry.  Flushing of hydrants serves two purposes:  (1) to minimize the build-up of mineral and other sediments in the water mains; and (2) to allow the Water Department to verify the fire hydrants are working properly and readily available for fire protection.

Also; as previously mentioned,  please be aware that streets in the general vicinity of flushing could also experience some discolored water.  As always; we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.
