Meeting with MassDEP on remediation of contamination at the former Hanover Fireworks site

The Board of Selectmen invites residents to attend a public meeting for a discussion with representatives of the MassDEP about the Phase III Remedial Action Plan at the former Hanover Fireworks site on Wednesday, October 16th at 6:30 p.m. at the Hanson Middle School. Hanson residents are encouraged to attend to hear in detail about the history of the contamination of this site, particularly as it pertains to the impacted area in Hanson, what efforts have been made to date to clean it up and next steps. Residents will be able to ask questions and give their input on this important matter that evening or anytime during the public comment period which ends on October 25, 2019.
