Town Clerk New Dates for Town Meeting & Town Election

The Hanson Board of Selectmen voted on March 17, 2020 to postpone the Annual and Special Town Meeting dates from Monday, May 4th to Monday June 15, 2020 because of the Coronavirus Pandemic. At the March 24, 2020 Selectmen’s meeting the Board voted to also postpone the Annual Town Election from Saturday, May 16th to Saturday, June 27, 2020.
The Town of Hanson obtained a Court Order and was able to change the nomination paper deadlines to coincide with the new Annual Town Election date. The last day to obtain nomination papers is now Wednesday, May 6th and the last day to file nomination papers to the Registrars is Friday, May 8, 2020.
