Wanted: Volunteers for Town Facebook Upkeep Committee

At its meeting on April 14, 2020, the Hanson Board of Selectmen created an ad hoc committee consisting of two citizens-at-large to manage the Town’s official Facebook page.  The responsibilities include publishing official Town notices such as open meeting notices, hearing notices, Town Meeting and Town Election documents, the annual Town Report, emergency events and other important information as it becomes available, and taking down postings once they are aged and no longer considered relevant.  The volunteers appointed will work out under the direction of the Town Administrator and the Executive Assistant.  If you are interested, please fill out the volunteer application for consideration by the Board, and send it to the Selectmen’s office at 542 Liberty Street, Hanson, MA 02342 or ggetzen@hanson-ma.gov .
