WATER RESTRICTIONS

The Hanson Water Department would like to notify Hanson customers that water restrictions are now in effect as of June 22, 2020.  OUTDOOR WATER USE IS ONLY ALLOWED BEFORE 9:00 A.M. AND AFTER 5:00 P.M. USING HANDHELD HOSES ONLY.

SPRINKLERS ARE NOT ALLOWED UNLESS YOU HAVE A PRIVATE WELL FOR OUTDOOR WATERING.

The Hanson Water Department is required per (our Water Management Act) to enforce these restrictions which are necessary to protect our water supply, and streamflow for aquatic life.

ENFORCEMENT: These restrictions are enabled by Article 3-15 of the Hanson Bylaws. 

Offenders will be issued a written warning; subsequent offenses will be subject to a fine of up to $100.00
