HYDRANT FLUSHING CONTINUING

Hydrant flushing will continue Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. weather permitting on County Road.

Please avoid doing laundry during the flushing of hydrants as water could become discolored and potentially stain white laundry.  Flushing of hydrants is important as it serves two purposes: (1) minimizes the build-up of mineral and other sediments in the water mains (2) allows the Water Department to verify the fire hydrants are working properly and readily available for fire protection.

Also; as previously mentioned; please be aware that streets in the general vicinity of the flushing could also experience some discolored water.  As always we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.
