WATER RESTRICTIONS

The Hanson Water Department would like to notify Hanson Customers that water restrictions are now in effect as of June 22, 2020.
Outdoor water use is only allowed before 9:00 A.M. and after 5:00 P.M. using a handheld hose only.
SPRINKLERS ARE NOT ALLOWED UNLESS YOU HAVE A PRIVATE WELL FOR OUTSIDE WATERING.
The Water Department is required per (our Water Management Act) to enforce these restrictions which are necessary to protect our water supply, and streamflow for aquatic life.
ENFORCEMENT: These restrictions are enabled by Article 3-15 of the Hanson Town By-laws.
Offenders will be issued written warnings; subsequent offenses will be subject to fines of up to $100.
