Hanson Fire Department Welcomes New Fire Chief and Deputy Chief

On Wednesday, May 31, 2023, members of the Hanson Fire Department and surrounding communities gathered at the Hanson Senior Center/Library for the swearing-in of new Hanson Fire Chief Robert O'Brien and new Hanson Deputy Fire Chief Charles Barends. Both Chief O'Brien and Deputy Barends were promoted from within the department and have spent their careers at Hanson Fire. Congratulations to both members.
