HANSON WATER SPRING FLUSHING PROGRAM

The Hanson Water Department will begin its Spring Flushing Program first week in April. Work will be scheduled Monday through Thursday 9:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M. (weather permitting). Hydrant flushing is done to remove iron and manganese deposits that collect on the walls of water mains. Please be aware during the flushing of hydrants; residents may experience discolored water; therefore we suggest you refrain from doing any laundry while flushing is being done on your street; or streets in the vicinity.
The areas of hydrant flushing will be posted on the Town's website each day if possible. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience. If you have any questions or concerns; you can contact the Water Department at 781-447-1200. Thank you.
