HYDRANT FLUSHING TO CONTINUE

The Hanson Water Department will be flushing hydrants Monday evening; October 24, 2022; between the hours of 7:00 P.M. -9:00 P.M. (weather permitting.)  The streets that will be flushed are as follows:  Helen Drive, Kathy Lane, and Barbara Road.

Please avoid doing any laundry during the hours of flushing hydrants as the water could become discolored and potentially stain the laundry.  Also please be aware that streets in the general vicinity of the flushing may also experience some discolored water even though we may not be directly on your street.

The flushing of hydrants very important as it minimizes the build up of minerals and other sediments in the water mains; and also allows us to verify fire hydrants are working properly for fire protection.
