Printing Error on Tax Bills
The Town of Hanson Treasurer/Collector’s office would like to clarify a misprint on the most recent real estate bills that were mailed last week. In the “Special Assessments” box at the top of the bill our printing company printed DEM LIEN in error.
The correct assessment is COMM PRES for Community Preservation.
The Community Preservation Assessment was adopted in 2008 and has appeared on the tax bills since that time.
