Nomination Papers are Now Available

Nomination Papers for the May 15th TOWN ELECTION are now available at the Town Clerk’s office for the following offices:

2 Selectman for 3 year terms

Assessor for a 3 year term

Board of Heath for a 3 year term

Cemetery Commissioner for a 3 year term

Planning Board for a 5 year term

2 Constables for 3 year terms

Hanson Housing Authority for 4 year term

Tree Warden for a 1 year term

2 Trustees of Public Library for 3 year terms

Whitman-Hanson Regional School District Committee PreK-12 for a 3 year term

2 Water Commissioners for 3 year terms

Each candidate, prior to obtaining blank nomination papers, shall sign a statement containing his/her name and address and the Town Office for which he/she intends to be  a candidate.

The last day to obtain nomination papers is Monday, March 22, 2021 and nomination papers must be returned to the Town Clerk's Office by 5 PM Friday, March 26th

A minimum of 50 certified signatures of registered voters is necessary in order for a candidate's name to be placed on the ballot.  (See attachment for more information)
