HYDRANT FLUSHING

The Water Department will start its fall flushing program on Monday, September 27, 2021 (weather permitting).  Flushing will be between the hours of 9:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.  Flushing will start on High Street at the tank; and proceed down High to Holmes Street.  Holmes Street will also be flushed.

We would like to remind residents to please try and avoid doing laundry during the flushing hours as the water can become discolored and potentially stain laundry.  Also; a reminder that streets in the general vicinity of the flushing area could also experience some discolored water even though we may not be directly on your street.  As always; we appreciate your patience and cooperation during this time.
