Water Main Break 4/10/2016

The Hanson Water Department responded to a water main break on Jereva Road in the early morning hours of Sunday April 10, 2016.  This was a major unforeseen event that caused residents to experience both no water and discolored water.  Our crews were on site repairing the break until 2pm and then began flushing hydrants throughout the areas of Franklin, Main, High, Holmes, West Washington and Philips streets.  Flushing continued throughout the night and into Monday April 11, 2016.  We will continue to give this incident our full attention until it is resolved.  Thank you.
